Durdle Door

Not a long time ago, me and my family went for a trip to Dorset. Here is some pics from that journey. Durdle Door was amazing place to visit! I was a surprised about the views as I didn't expect to see that in UK.

Imagine going there at summer when it's warm and sun is shining... I could stay there and stare at those views for ages....

Hurst Castle

So last Sunday I went to see long waited Hurst Castle next Lymington! It was amazing place, especially because of the views. You can see Isle of Wight's white rocks and sunny days -like that day- the sea is turquoise.

Video is completely in Finnish and the first minute is introduction of the video!

Oxford

a picture from mainstreet

Last weekend my family visited in Oxford.

Oxford is known as a university town and there is approximately 9.5 million visitors per year which is a huge amount of people!
Almost twice of the population in the Finland. When u compare this to the population of Oxford you can imagine how busy the city gets especially on summer holidays ~ In 2012 Oxfords population was 151,900.

So Oxford is a small but very busy city...
What makes Oxford such amazing tourist attraction, is its history, characteristic  charm, facilities and public gardens. It is a great place to visit but I wouldn't go there when it's the busiest as I get nervous when streets are full of people and you can't really stop for a while and admire the old buildings.

When u walked outside the main streets it was really peaceful and quiet!

Poole

Today when my friend Tasha left we gave her a lift and headed to Poole.

Poole is just 20mins away from Bournemouth's heart.

Well anyway it takes a little over an hour and half to get there from Pagham (where I live) if there isn't a lot of traffic.

For my opinion Poole is one of the nicest coastal towns in South England of what I have seen so far. There is so much to see & so much happening all the time! It must be really busy in summer.

Then we went for a "snack" to the Wetherspoon.
I took a nachos and mum & dad took chili hotdogs.

Those hot dogs were enormous!

After a small walk in the town centre of Poole we decided to head back to home along the coast. We didn't really plan it to go and check "very spoken" Sandbanks.

But I am really happy we stopped there cos the beach was absolutely gorgeous even it was pretty cloudy!

Easter Holiday

Kumpi on sitten parempi tapa? -en osaa yhtään sanoa... molemmissa on hyvät puolensa!
